The Weather Channel/El Canal del Tiempo to join DIRECTV PARA TODOS Programming Lineup.

Spanish-speaking television viewers in the United States will have a new weather information source when The Weather Channel/El Canal del Tiempo joins the DIRECTV PARA TODOS(TM) Programming lineup beginning in early March.
DIRECTV PARA TODOS is the new bilingual digital television service from DIRECTV for Spanish-speaking households in the United States.

The DIRECTV PARA TODOS System, which receives the DIRECTV PARA TODOS programming service, is now available at selected retailers in 10 U.S. markets including, Los Angeles, Miami, Houston, San Jose/San Francisco, Dallas, El Paso, Fresno, Sacramento, San Diego and Phoenix. The receiving equipment will be available nationwide by early March.
The Weather Channel/El Canal del Tiempo is the only Spanish language weather information network that has 24 hours a day of programming available and reaches more than 5 million households in Latin America and the United States. The service provides local, national, regional and international forecasts seven days a week. The Weather Channel is owned by Landmark Communications, a communications company based in Norfolk, Virginia with global interests, which include other cable channels, InfiNet (an Internet access provider), television stations and newspapers.
