                  VIDTRAC VIDTIPS -- November 1, 2001

                            NEW IN THEATERS

On November 2, freakish but friendly monsters will "scare" moviegoers
nationwide. Pixar's latest computer-generated animation, "MONSTERS,
INC.," stars the voice talents of JOHN GOODMAN and BILLY CRYSTAL. On
the other side of the closet door is Monstropolis, a bustling city of
monsters who lead regular, normal lives. It just happens to be that
the city's biggest company, Monsters, Inc., is in the business of
scaring kids to collect their screams to power Monstropolis. Sulley
(Goodman), an eight-foot-tall, 800 pound monster, is the top kid
scarer at Monsters, Inc. When Sulley accidentally lets a little girl
into Monsters, Inc., all hell breaks loose as monsters are, in
actuality, very scared of kids. With the help of his best friend Mike
(Crystal), Sulley must try to restore order and get the little girl
                       back safely in her bed.
Take home these family-friendly videos that will get parents and kids
                            both laughing:

"Toy Story" series "A Bug's Life" "Antz" "Chicken Run" "The Lion King"
"Wallace & Gromit" series "Babe" "Rugrats in Paris: The Movie"
                     "My Dog Skip" "Dr. Dolittle"

                             NEW ON VIDEO

On November 6, Elle Woods is determined to avenge the wrong and
misfortunes placed on blondes everywhere in "LEGALLY BLONDE." The
film stars REESE WITHERSPOON as Elle Woods, a natural blonde, blessed
with perfect sunny looks and the Beverly Hills 90210 lifestyle to
match. But when she is unexpectedly dumped by her preppy, East Coast
boyfriend (MATTHEW DAVIS) to attend Harvard Law School and reunite
with an old flame (SELMA BLAIR), Elle is dumbfounded. Determined to
win him back, she manages to get accepted into Harvard Law School.
Once there, she is subject to endless torment from the snobby Harvard
elite, but she also discovers her natural aptitude for law. And as the
movie slowly peals back the porcelain perfection of Elle's exterior to
reveal her intellect and depth, this blonde attempts to redeem blondes
                             everywhere.
Enjoy these actors in the following films on video:

                          REESE WITHERSPOON
            "Pleasantville" "Election" "Cruel Intentions"

                             SELMA BLAIR
"Down to You" "Debutante" "Cruel Intentions"

                            MATTHEW DAVIS
                    "Urban Legends" "Pearl Harbor"

                           BIRTHDAY WISHES

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MATTHEW MCCONAUGHEY! Born on November 4, 1969, in
Uvalde, Texas, Matthew McConaughey first made his mark in the film
"DAZED AND CONFUSED." However, his arrival as a major Hollywood
celebrity and international sex symbol came in the film "A TIME TO
KILL," an adaptation of the John Grisham novel. After appearing in
numerous magazine covers and films, McConaughey continues to attract
                 attention and filmgoers everywhere.
