The Union Bank Announces Successful Implementation Of Sumx's In-house Internet Banking System.

(NASDAQ:BKBK) (www.bkbank.com), announced the successful implementation of its in-house, Internet banking system, SumxNet, to provide Internet banking services to The Union Bank, a Marksville, La.-based community bank.

Branded by The Union Bank as "Bonjour Banking," SumxNet provides The Union Bank's individual and business online customers with transaction tracking and billing, check categorization, unlimited history depth, check image access, bill payment and cash management services. The Union Bank went live with SumxNet in fall 2000 and 20 percent of the bank's customers are currently using the system for online banking.

Through SumxNet, The Union Bank is also offering its online customers unique features such as Account Watchdog and Personal Accountant. Account Watchdog automatically monitors accounts and notifies customers of unusual activity and when balances fall below or rise above pre-set account balance levels. Personal Accountant enables The Union Bank customers to track income and expenses directly through their checking accounts as well as providing financial management tools.
