Recognizing the growing role of technology in music production and the increasing importance of high-quality audio in the computer industry, the organizers of MACWORLD Expo have announced an exciting new lineup of Mac music and audio conference sessions for the San Francisco San Francisco (săn frănsĭs`kō), city (1990 pop. 723,959), coextensive with San Francisco co., W Calif., on the tip of a peninsula between the Pacific Ocean and San Francisco Bay, which are connected by the strait known as the Golden  event, January 4-8, 2000, at the Moscone Convention Center.
