The U.S. Department of Commerce will investigate Brazilian shrimp exporters Netuno, Cida and NortePesca for dumping dumping, selling goods at less than the normal price, usually as exports in international trade. It may be done by a producer, a group of producers, or a nation.  practices in the United States United States, officially United States of America, republic (2005 est. pop. 295,734,000), 3,539,227 sq mi (9,166,598 sq km), North America. The United States is the world's third largest country in population and the fourth largest country in area. . The Brazilian Shrimp Association says the exporters may not be able to provide documentation required by the United States, since it buys more than 80% of its product from small suppliers, many being part of the informal economy. The U.S. Department of Commerce will make a decision regarding penalty taxes by June 8.
