The Timberland Company Named One of 100 Best Companies by Working Mother Magazine.


STRATHAM, N.H. -- The Timberland Company today announced it has been named to the list of "100 Best Companies for Working Mothers" by Working Mother magazine.

Companies are selected for the list based on information about their corporate culture, employee population and policies on work/life and women's advancement. Applications are scored on details such as the number of work/life programs offered, the employee usage of such programs and the representation of women throughout the company. This year, Working Mother gave particular weight to three issues: flexible scheduling, time off for new parents and child-care options.
