The Temptations Bring Their Fancy Footwork and Classic Harmonies to the World Famous Apollo Theater for a Special Holiday Performance On Friday, December 20.

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 3, 2002

The world famous Apollo Theater celebrates the holiday season with a special performance by Apollo legends and Motown Records classic r&b and soul vocal group, the TEMPTATIONS. These soulful crooners will grace the stage on Friday, December 20. The show begins at 8:00 pm. Tickets are now on sale at the Apollo Theater box office, 212/531-5305, located at 253 West 125th Street, Manhattan or through Ticketmaster: 212/307-7171.

Headed by original group member Otis Williams, the TEMPTATIONS (Ron Tyson, Terry Weeks, Barrington Henderson and Harry McGilberry, Jr.) will perform selections from their extensive song book of perennial favorites including, "My Girl," "Papa Was a Rolling Stone," and "Treat Her Like A Lady." The group will also perform selections from their platinum-plus selling album, PHOENIX RISING, the Grammy Award winning, EAR RESISTIBLE, and their current Motown release, AWESOME. In keeping with the holiday season, the soul stirring Temptations will also perform Christmas classics, including the crowd pleaser, "Silent Night." The Temptations at the Apollo is guaranteed quality entertainment for all ages and musical taste.

Other exciting Apollo Theater holiday shows include the super hot music series, Latin Nites at the Apollo with a special Christmas show featuring Carlos Ponce on December 13 at 8:00pm and the critically acclaimed, romping good time musical review, Harlem Song, on Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays through December 30.
