SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. and WALKER, Mich. -- The Tech Group today announced the opening of a new state-of-the-art, 114,000 square-foot custom molding and contract manufacturing facility in Walker, Michigan
There is also Walker Township in Cheboygan County.


Walker is a city in Kent County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 21,842 at the 2000 census. Before incorporating as a city, it was known as Walker Township.

At a ribbon-cutting event held on Thursday, September 14, Governor Jennifer M. Granholm commented, "The Tech Group expansion is a result of west Michigan's commitment to diversifying the labor market labor market A place where labor is exchanged for wages; an LM is defined by geography, education and technical expertise, occupation, licensure or certification requirements, and job experience  into the healthcare industry. It's our pleasure to watch The Tech Group grow."

 Mark Jansen, State Representative Mark Hildenbrand, Mayor Rob VerHuelen and local police and fire departments. More than 200 company officials, employees and community leaders attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
