The Tacoma Concert Band Will Perform a Free Concert at the Rhododendron Species Botanical Garden.City Desks FEDERAL WAY, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 24, 2003 The Tacoma Concert Band will perform a free concert on Thursday, August 7, at 6:30 p.m. The concert will be held at the Rhododendron rhododendron (rō'dədĕn`drən) [Gr.,=rose tree], any plant of the genus Rhododendron, shrubs of the family Ericaceae (heath family) found chiefly in mountainous areas of the arctic and north temperate regions and also of the Species Botanical Garden botanical garden, public place in which plants are grown both for display and for scientific study. An arboretum is a botanical garden devoted chiefly to the growing of woody plants. on the Weyerhaeuser Company headquarters campus in Federal Way. Bring your own blanket or chair to enjoy stirring marches, light classics and Hollywood favorites on the lawn in the Rhododendron Species Botanical Garden. The gates will open at 5:00 pm for strolling through the garden or shopping in the gift shop. The garden is located on the Weyerhaeuser campus at 2525 South 336th Street in Federal Way.
