The Sun. (Poems to Share).

The Sun

   What's bright and yellow,
   Soft and round,
   And shines above my head?

   What hides in clouds
   And slips away
   Before I go to bed?

   What warms me up
   When winds are cold
And cheers me with its light?

   The sun!
It is a friend of mine.
   It makes my daytime bright.
