The Study of Witchcraft witchcraft, a form of sorcery, or the magical manipulation of nature for self-aggrandizement, or for the benefit or harm of a client. This manipulation often involves the use of spirit-helpers, or familiars.  

Deborah Lipp Deborah Lipp is a Wiccan High Priestess of the Gardnerian Tradition and an American author. She was initiated into a traditional Gardnerian coven of Witches in 1981, became a Wiccan in 1986, and has been teaching Wicca and running Pagan circles ever since.
