Edwin McCain Wednesday, John Henry's Singer-songwriter Edwin McCain knows about life on the road. Back in the mid-1990s, he and his band were on the road more than 300 nights a year, touring with acts such as Hootie and the Blowfish. The 1997 hit "I'll Be," from McCain's second album "Misguided Roses," became a smash. But the success wouldn't last. McCain split from his record label, Lava/Atlantic, in 2001. Since then, he's released two records, "The Austin Sessions" in 2002 and 2004's "Scream and Whisper.' McCain will swing through John Henry's at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday - with support from Maia Sharp and Marcus Eaton. Tickets are $15 in advance, available through Ticketmaster outlets.
