On Sunday, June 10, 2007 at 8:30 a.m. the Scleroderma Foundation will hold its 5th Annual "Stepping Out to Cure" Walkathon at La Mirada Regional Park. The event will feature live music by Southern California's premier rock and roll band, Barefoot Planet, an interactive Kidzone and bounce house, food by Baja Fresh and much more.

"This year we anticipate exceeding last year's numbers and continue on our mission of support, awareness and research in hopes that one day we will find a cure," Brian R. Adams, Executive Director for the Southern California Chapter said, noting that last year's event raised over $150,000 and had over 1050 walkers. "Together we can help those afflicted af·flict

About Scleroderma

Scleroderma is a chronic, degenerative autoimmune disease autoimmune disease, any of a number of abnormal conditions caused when the body produces antibodies to its own substances.
