The SEC and the North American Securities Administrators Association waived--through October 31, 2006--various system fees certain investment advisers and their representatives pay for mandatory registration in the Investment Adviser Registration Depository (IARD).


The SEC and the North American Securities Administrators Association The North American Securities Administrators Association (NASAA), founded in Kansas in 1919, is the oldest international investor protection organization. NASAA was created to protect consumers who purchase securities or investment advice, and their jurisdiction extends to a  waived--through October 31, 2006--various system fees certain investment advisers and their representatives pay for mandatory registration in the Investment Adviser Registration Depository The place where a deposit is placed and kept, e.g., a bank, savings and loan institution, credit union, or trust company.
