Alyssa Cherbas has been promoted to youth supervisor at the Downtown Athletic Club in Eugene. She was hired in June 2002 as a youth counselor, and also works as a part-time second-grade teacher at Awbrey Park Elementary School.

Ann Bodily, an audiologist, has joined the ear, nose and throat practice at PeaceHealth Medical Group's Hilyard Street Clinic, near Sacred Heart Medical Center in Eugene. She also sees patients two days a week at PeaceHealth's Senior Health & Wellness Center, in west Eugene's Barger Medical Building.

Christina Binschus has moved to Le Salon, 1171 W. Harlow Road, in Springfield. She has 23 years experience as a stylist, and worked for the past five years at Body Elegance on Coburg Road in Eugene.

Lorraine Bonaldi-Moore, a registered nurse, has joined the staff at Aesthetic Plastic Surgery in Eugene as the new business/practice manager. She has managed plastic surgery practices in the Reno-Tahoe area for more than 15 years.

Stacey Brown has been hired as front office coordinator at Express Personnel Services in Eugene, and Marina Stanfield has been hired as staffing assistant at the agency. Brown's background is in human resources, accounting and office management, and Stanfield's is in graphic design and office services.

Anne Marie Levis has been named 2004-05 president of the board of directors at Looking Glass Youth and Family Services in Eugene. The agency is the largest private, nonprofit provider of services for troubled youth in Lane County.

The Assistance League of Eugene has been selected as 2004 recipient of the Oregon Dental Foundation's George A. Ronning Humanitarian Award, in recognition of the league's longtime support of the Children's Dental Clinic. The clinic, at Churchill High School in Eugene, provides free dental care by volunteer dentists and hygienists to public school children from low-income families who are referred by their schools.

Eschelon Telecom Inc., based in Minneapolis, will pay $45.5 million to acquire Advanced TelCom Inc., a Santa Rosa, Calif.-based company whose client base includes roughly half of all telephone and Internet business customers in the Eugene-Springfield area.
