The Recording Academy(R) and Sony BMG Music Entertainment Release 2007 GRAMMY(R) Nominees CD Featuring 49th Annual GRAMMY Awards Nominees.

Tourism and retailing are important, and the city has motion-picture, biotechnology, and software industries. , Calif. -- The Recording Academy([R])has teamed with Sony BMG Sony BMG Music Entertainment, Inc. is the result of a 50/50 joint venture between Sony Music Entertainment (part of Sony) and BMG Entertainment (part of Bertelsmann) completed on August 5, 2004.  Music Entertainment to release the 2007 GRAMMY([R]) Nominees CD, which celebrates many of the year's GRAMMY-nominated artists and songs. This year's compilation Compiling a program. See compiler.  -- due in stores nationwide on Jan. 23 -- includes some of the year's best music from several major categories. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of the CD will benefit the MusiCares Foundation([R]) and the GRAMMY Foundation([R]).

The disc contains many of the most widely recognized GRAMMY categories. The 23 tracks from the 2007 GRAMMY Nominees CD represent nominees from the Record Of The Year, Album Of The Year, Best New Artist, Best Male Pop Vocal Performance, Best Female Pop Vocal Performance and Best Pop Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocals categories. The CD is made possible by a special arrangement with all of the major music distribution companies and rotates distributors from year to year.
