Set in small-town Roseto, Pennsylvania Roseto is a borough in Northampton County, Pennsylvania, United States. Roseto is located in the Lehigh Valley region of the state. It is part of Pennsylvania's Slate Belt[1].

The population of Roseto was 1,653 at the 2000 census.
, primarily in the decades between WW I and WW II, this is about having and not having choices, about making a life in the wake of both, and discovering, finally, what you've lost sight of along the way. The story is Nella Castelluca's, a brilliant and hard working farm-girl who dreams of becoming a teacher only to be forced at 15 to work in a mill factory. She falls in love with handsome, well-educated Renato, only to have him leave her suddenly and mysteriously.
