: HOT) signed an agreement with Grupo Plan to take over the management of the company's Puerta Campeche hotel in Mexico. Dating back to the mid-1600's, this charming and quaint hacienda-style hotel joins Starwood's portfolio of Luxury Collection properties. Located in the city of Campeche on the Yucatan peninsula and declared a World Heritage site by UNESCO UNESCO: see United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization.

 in 1999, The Puerta Campeche Hotel is Starwood's seventh Luxury Collection property in Mexico.
