The Greater Cleveland Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America The Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), based in New York City, is the world's largest organization for public relations professionals. The organization has more than 30,000 professional and student members, and is organized into 112 chapters nationwide.  (PRSA) will offer practical lessons for launching a successful career to the next generation of professional communicators when it hosts its Student Day 2001, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16 at the University Club. Entitled "Reality 101", the full-day forum will feature a healthy dose of "in-your-face" commentary on securing employment during a down economy by recognized authority in job placement and career development, Bill Heyman, President and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  of Heyman Associates, New York, as he delivers the keynote address.

PRSA's annual Student Day brings together college students from Ohio and surrounding states and established Cleveland professionals for a day of workshops and presentations that will examine the major areas of public relations practice. Students also will have the opportunity to participate in an educational portfolio and resume review session or a session on building these interview tools to complement the sessions of practical lessons that can't be taught in the classroom.
