Institution: The Private Bank and Trust Co., St. Charles, Ill. Assets: $1.5 billion, 8 locations. Agency: PRobert Brandt & Associates, Burr Ridge, Ill.

The bank wanted an annual report that stood out from competitors and introduced its employees to readers--"because they are one of our most important assets."

The design was intended to convey a sense of the brand and culture--and how the bank atmosphere and philosophy were different from other financial institutions.

To assist in the design, the bank provided the advertising agency with detailed thoughts, suggestions, copywriting and examples of what the bank was trying to accomplish.
