The Power ladies who lunch.Prudential Douglas Elliman executive vice president Toni Haber has formed a "Power Women's" lunch club that meets monthly to share business tips and discuss strategies for success. The group comprises women who are leaders in their fields, including influential members from various sectors including real estate, publishing, non-profit, fashion and entertainment. "The goal of the lunch club is to give some of New York City's most prominent women an opportunity to meet each other and form professional and personal alliances," says Haber. "This group represents an extensive network of knowledge, new ideas and contacts. These are big picture women for whom the possibilities are endless. By coming together, we can share each other's resources and empower each other to reach for new heights." Each monthly meeting is hosted by one member, who chooses the venue. The first meeting was hosted by Ms. Haber and held at The Friar's Club. Joining her were Maureen O'Brien, executive editor, Harper Collins; Robin Bronk, executive director, Creative Coalition; Debra E. Halpert, publisher, Hamptons Magazine; Terri Eagle, president and CEO, John Hardy; Nancy Pantelioni, broker, Prudential Connecticut Realty. "The enthusiasm within our group is palpable pal·pa·ble (p l p -b l)n. ," says Haber. "These are women who saw blue skies through glass ceilings and made their way to the top."
