The Pet Show.

My dog Sasha is a different type of poodle. She is a party poodle. She can get kind of snappy, but I still love her.

--Meredith Floyd, age 9

Mountain Home, Arizona

My horse Sam is very special to me. When we first got him, he was skin and bones. He had no muscles and would often fall over. We took special care of him for three years, and now he is fit and very pretty.

--Kelly O'Neil, age 9

Thousand Oaks, California

I think that my dog Rena and my cat Fluffy should be in the Pet Show. Rena is eight years old, and Fluffy is only three years old.

--Mark Polyansky, age 8

Carbondale, Pennsylvania

This is a picture of Freckles, a Golden Persian I bought at the pet market in Moscow, Russia. On the flight home from Russia, Freckles escaped from the cat carrier and took a tour of the 747 jet. Luckily, we found her, and now she enjoys sleeping in my drawers and going on walks. The picture shows Freckles celebrating her first birthday.

--Laine Milburn, age 8

Dickinson, North Dakota

We think our dog Bo-Bo should be in the Pet Show. He drinks my brother's bottle and is so sweet.

--Bo-Bo's owners,

Springfield, Missouri

This is my cat Frosty. Her nickname is Frog. She likes to sleep on the top of the bunk bed. Frosty/Frog is very kind. She will always let the other cats have their fill of food before eating. I wish you could meet her.

--Estee Milburn, age 9

Dickinson, North Dakota

Hi! This is my pet cockatiel, Bingo. I know Bingo loves me because he kisses me on the tip of my nose. He also likes to eat Cheerios from my hand and peck on my glasses. When he is really happy, he puts up the yellow feathers on top of his head.

--Julia Daniel, age 9

New Boston, New Hampshire
