The Paper Industry International Hall of Fame (PIIHF).


The Paper Industry International Hall of Fame (PIIHF PIIHF Paper Industry International Hall of Fame (Appleton, WI) ), Appleton, Wisconsin Appleton is a city in the U.S. state of Wisconsin, on the Fox River, 100 miles (161 km) north of Milwaukee. As of the 2005 census estimate, the city had a total population of 70,217. , USA, has announced its ninth annual banquet and induction ceremony on October 9, 2003. Six industry pioneers will be inducted into PIIHF at the event to be held at the Radisson Paper Valley Hotel in Appleton. They join 53 other notables in the Hall of Fame. Jan Astrom, president and chief executive officer of SCA (Single Connector Attachment) An 80-pin plug and socket used to connect peripherals. With a SCSI drive, it rolls three cables (power, data channel and ID configuration) into one connector for fast installation and removal. , Stockholm, Sweden, will be the keynote speaker. The PIIHF recognizes people who have made preeminent contributions to the paper industry worldwide by inducting them annually into the PIIHF. It honors professionals who have fostered a greater understanding of the paper industry, its heritage, and its impact on quality of life for all people. 2003 inductees into the PIIHF are:

* Thomas M. Grace, president of T. M. Grace Company, Inc., Appleton, Wisconsin

* Robert W. Hagemeyer (deceased), coating consultant to the industry and retiree of J.M. Huber Company, Atlanta, Georgia

* Matti Kankaanpaa, retired chairman & CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board. , Valmet Corporation (now Metso Corporation), Finland

* Carl C. Landegger, owner of Black Clawson Company, New York New York, state, United States
New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of
, New York

* Harry F. Lewis (deceased), vice president and dean of the Institute of Paper Chemistry (now the Institute of Paper Science and Technology), Appleton, Wisconsin

* Derek H. Page, distinguished professor of physics, the Institute of Paper Science and Technology, Atlanta, Georgia.
