) today announced that Douglas P. Snyder has joined the Company as its Vice President of Finance & Planning.

Snyder's key responsibilities include financial and strategic planning, budgeting; evaluation of potential joint ventures; treasury and banking activities.

In introducing Snyder, Drew L. Taylor, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Company commented: "Doug was a key member of the management team that guided Office Depot during its formative years of growth from 26 locations with revenues of $132 million to over 400 locations with revenues of $4.3 billion. His unique experience and talents will be very useful to Panda as we grow."
