The Norwalk Community College Foundation, in Norwalk, Conn., has received a $1 million gift to fund student scholarships and financial aid at the college over the next five years. The donation was made by a Fairfield County couple who established the Pay It Forward Foundation. The benefactors, who wish to remain anonymous, said they are delighted to be able to make this large gift to the college. They believe the college enriches all of Fairfield County by providing educational opportunities to so many who go on to support the larger community in the fields of education, childcare, nursing, healthcare, business and other services.
