Forza Marketing Group of Little Rock is celebrating the addition of a third telecommunications account.

The advertising, marketing and public relations agency added a $1.5 million account with Plateau Telecommunications of Clovis, N.M., to its stable. Plateau offers long-distance, local and wireless phone service, as well as Internet access, to businesses and residential customers in New Mexico and Texas.

Jeanette Wagner, Forza's public relations director, said that although the firm hadn't necessarily sought all the telecommunications business, it had become a growing part of the agency's work. Other Forza telecommunications clients are Little Rock's Avow Technology Solutions and Fort Smith's Vantage Telecom.

Forza, however, did pursue Plateau's business with impressive results. The agency beat five other agencies for the account, including Regian & Wilson/Grey Worldwide of Fort Worth. With $33 million in billings, Regian & Wilson is Fort Worth's top-billing agency.

With 22 employees, Forza was No. 6 on Arkansas Business' Advertising Agencies list, published Feb. 28.
