, and The Dayton Beach News-Journal today announced the launch of Florida Top Jobs, a regional online database combining premium job listings from 14 Florida newspapers representing 877,000 daily subscribers and 1.1 million Sunday subscribers.

"Employers rely on newspapers - in print and online - to target market their jobs, and Top Jobs now gives Florida's employers the opportunity to gain an ever greater return on their efforts by expanding their reach across the state. Florida Top Jobs puts jobs in front of one of Florida's largest bases of both active and passive job seekers."

Florida Top Jobs allows employers to post their job listings across a network of Florida newspaper Web sites. By choosing the Top Jobs option with a participating newspaper, an employer's job will be listed on all network newspapers' Web sites and have the potential to generate more unique visitors A count of how many different people access a Web site. For example, if a user leaves and comes back to the site five times during the measurement period, that person is counted as one unique visitor, but would count as five "user sessions. . Florida Top Jobs listings database is estimated to have the potential to generate 2.5 million unique visits per month. These impressions will represent both active jobseekers and passive jobseekers who visit the members' Web sites. The Florida Top Jobs database is designed to complement members' print and online recruitment services. The database can only be accessed through a participating member's Web site.

After an initial launch period of six months, participation will be open to all Florida daily newspapers that agree to the terms and conditions of the consortium.
