The Natural Dentist Completes Second Round of Financing.

MEDFORD, Mass. -- The Natural Dentist, the first oral care company founded to address oral health with whole body health in mind, announced today it has closed its Series B financing. The financing was co-led by Burrill & Company and Prolog Ventures with strong participation from existing investor Great Spirit Ventures (GSV). Brooke Private Equity also participated in the round.

The Natural Dentist has developed a line of all natural products scientifically proven to be efficacious in improving oral health. There is growing scientific evidence that oral health is linked to overall body health. The new financing will enable The Natural Dentist to continue to place significant emphasis on research and product development. The Natural Dentist is currently working with leading scientists and institutions in oral care research to further demonstrate the efficacy of its products and develop proprietary natural formulations that address oral health issues. Future studies will focus on emerging trends in oral health. The financing will also allow The Natural Dentist to expand its already strong distribution channels and improve existing presentation at retail, as well as increase consumer marketing initiatives.
