The evaluation by NIMA included a 90-day prototype period involving on-site evaluations by operational users and technical staff. The selection criteria, established by the NIMA Workflow Working Group, included interoperability, scalability, DII/COE DII/COE Defense Information Infrastructure / Common Operating Environment (also seen as DIICOE and DII-COE)  compliance, performance, and cost.
