Outstanding Board-Commission Award (Under 25,000 population):

Genesco Community Park District, Board of Park Commissioners, Genesco, Illinois

Professional Excellence Award:

Richard A. Arenella, Superintendent of Parks, Great Neck, New York Great Neck is a village in Nassau County, New York, in the U.S., on the North Shore of Long Island. As of the United States 2000 Census, the village population was 9,538.

The Village of Great Neck is in the Town of North Hempstead.
 

Outstanding Board-Commission Award (25,000 - 75,000 population):

Bismarck Parks and Recreation District, Board of Park Commissioners, Bismarck, North Dakota Bismarck is the capital of the State of North Dakota, the county seat of Burleigh County, and the second most populous city in North Dakota after Fargo. Its population is 58,333 (July 2006 est.).[1] Bismarck was founded in 1872.  

Professional Excellence Award:

Sue Harkin, Recreation Superintendent, City of Bozeman, Montana Bozeman is a city in southwestern Montana, USA. It is the county seat of Gallatin County. With a 2000 population of 27,509, Bozeman is the fifth largest city in the state. The city is named after John M. Bozeman, founder of the Bozeman Trail.  

Outstanding Board-Commission Award (75,000 and over population):

Fairfax County Park Authority Board, County of Fairfax, Virginia

State C-BM Service Award:

Mary Garrison, Vice President, Board of Directors, Winnetka Park District, Winnetka, Illinois
