Johnny Cash's rise from humble beginnings Humble Beginnings was an American pop punk band from New Jersey.  voice, which mirrors Cash's own voice, is perfect for the narration. His reading is without much variety in tempo or emotion but the words themselves will often move the listener to tears. This is especially true when Turner writes about June Carter's death and Cash's death shortly thereafter.
