Words and Music By Tom Paxton Thomas R. Paxton (born October 31, 1937) is a well-known American folk singer and singer-songwriter who has been writing, performing and recording music for over forty years.  

Yes sir modern life is scary

It's sure tough on you and me

It's hard to count on anything these days.

But when things get too hairy 1. hairy - Annoyingly complicated. "DWIM is incredibly hairy."
2. hairy - Incomprehensible. "DWIM is incredibly hairy."
3. hairy - Of people, high-powered, authoritative, rare, expert, and/or incomprehensible.
