The Magic Johnson Foundation Presents the 17th Annual ``A Midsummer Night's Magic'' -- Benefiting the Taylor Michaels Scholarship Program.

 Foundation will host the 17th Annual "A Midsummer Night's Magic" fundraising weekend August 8-11, 2002. Money raised from the Midsummer events will directly benefit the Magic Johnson Foundation's Taylor Michaels Scholarship Program.

The Magic Johnson Foundation's Taylor Michaels Scholarship Program is designed to provide support to college-bound students. Specifically, the scholarship provides monetary support based on need and circumstance as well as the opportunity to participate in a mentoring and internship program. Recommended by school counselors, students accepted for the program exemplify a strong potential for academic achievement but face socio-economic conditions that hinder them from reaching their full potential.
