 -- The Middle East, Boston's premier rock club, has joined forces with g8wave, a cutting-edge mobile marketing company, to offer-concert goers a better night of live music. Thanks to the growing use of text-messaging capabilities, enhanced by g8wave's proprietary technologies, concert-goers can now use their cell phones to get more involved in the musical experience, with no earpiece usage or shouting over music required.

Technology provider g8wave has developed the program to be exceptionally open and easy-to-use. Anyone can join The Middle East Rocklist simply by sending a text message to 22122 with the message "ROCK."

As a kick-off event, the Middle East has a special Rocklist promotion in conjunction with the Rainer Maria, Hail Social Hail Social is a rock band from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
