 House Officers This little volume is designed as a pocket reference for neurology house officers in their first years of training. It contains definitions, lists, tables, and concise reviews of clinical topics in neurology. The intent of the authors, who were neurology residents at Case Western University, was to help provide their colleagues with readily available information that would enable them to institute initial management "in the middle of the night."

I believe the book measures up to the authors' intent. I would have welcomed having such a volume to carry in my pocket or "black bag"; however, the contents of the book are so condensed con·dense
