With the price of service dropping and bonuses such as free phones and free weekend calls cropping up, cell phones are replacing beepers as the teen status symbol of choice. Teenagers like the free night and weekend calls--prime gab time--and parents like the ability to stay in touch with their kids. That feature has its drawbacks, however.
