Read this book thoroughly, but then investigate Columbia's Inquiry Program, Duquesne's interdisciplinary program, and the exciting things going on at Harvard's Graduate School of Education. And examine the Total Quality Management theories and practices of Juran, Crosby, Ishikawa, Feigenbaum, especially W. Edwards Deming's Theory of Profound Knowledge. This book is the most comprehensive synopsis of the thoughts of people currently influencing and running the programs. It is a good beginning, but only a beginning.
