The community practices animal sacrifice Animal sacrifice is the ritual killing of an animal as part of a religion. It is practised by many religions as a means of appeasing a god or gods or changing the course of nature.  in its celebration of Passover even today. The book concludes with a description of an extensive collection of Samaritan materials that are housed at Michigan State University Michigan State University, at East Lansing; land-grant and state supported; coeducational; chartered 1855.
