The International Media Service for Business and Finance Journalists.


BERLIN -- The International Media Service offers journalists immediate access to worthwhile information and story ideas about Germany at www.mediaservice.land-of-ideas.org. Over 1,500 high-quality reports, portraits and features are available, created in cooperation with the German Press Agency (dpa), making this research platform a globally unique service.

The extended section on "Economy & Innovation" in conjunction with the special feature on the G8 states, forms the heart of the information on offer. It contains important industry news, reports on products and leading exports, portraits of companies as well as interviews with key leaders of the German industry. In addition the Media Service provides access to an image archive, containing hundreds of royalty-free images, as well as research contacts and further links on all topic areas. All of the material - including text, images and TV footage - is available for journalists worldwide free of charge. The material is updated constantly and available in English, Spanish Spanish, river, c.150 mi (240 km) long, issuing from Spanish Lake, S Ont., Canada, NW of Sudbury, and flowing generally S through Biskotasi and Agnew lakes to Lake Huron opposite Manitoulin island.
