The International Mechanical Pulping Conference.

THE INTERNATIONAL MECHANICAL PULPING CONFERENCE, IMPC 2005 is planned in Oslo, Norway for June 7 - 9, 2005. Mill tours will be on June 10, 2005. The conference covers most aspects of mechanical pulping, its manufacture and use, including fiber characterization, wood properties, grinding, fundamentals of refining, as well as bleaching and production and use of chemi- mechanical pulp. IMPC 2005 is organized by The Technical Association of the Norwegian Pulp and Paper Industry (PTF). It is being held under the EUCEPA label, and co-sponsors are TAPPI, PAPTAC, SPCI and PI.
