The International Colored Gemstone Association (ICA; New York) announced that it has launched "InColor," a new magazine that replaces the association's two decade-old "ICA Gazette" newsletter.

The mission of the magazine is to "promote the understanding, appreciation and sale of colored not of the white race; - commonly meaning, esp. in the United States, of negro blood, pure or mixed.

The new title "fills a vacuum in the market, caused by the absence of an international trade publication that focuses specifically on the vertical colored gemstone industry, from mine to market."
