The Imagineering Way, by Disney Institute The Disney Institute was a resort and learning center at the Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. opened in 1992, the center was a pet project of then Disney CEO Michael Eisner who saw it as a way for families to learn and play together as well as way to tap into , Book, 2003, Disney Dis·ney   , Walter Elias Known as "Walt." 1901-1966.

American animator, showman, and film producer. Noted for his creation of the cartoon characters Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck, he produced the first animated film with sound,

The Disney Institute has established a significant presence in the training world for its ability to inspire leaders from many industries to find new and ingenious in·gen·ious

1. Marked by inventive skill and imagination.

 ways to unleash the creative energies of their workforce. And many of those leaders who have not attended the Institute have turned to a recent crop of business books written about the workplace application of Disney's "magic" to fuel their efforts.

The Imagineering Way is one of those books. It is a motivational work, a peek into the creative minds of the Disney Imagineers. Crammed cram

Recommendation

The Imagineering Way won't help you in an immediate, practical sense. However, its creative, playful play·ful

1. Full of fun and high spirits; frolicsome or sportive: a playful kitten.

 pages can serve as inspiration when you or your team becomes bogged down.
