The ICC threat. (Letters to the Editor).Warren Mass's article "Bush, the UN, and the ICC ICC See: International Chamber of Commerce " (July 1st issue) is extremely well-written and contains much pertinent information needed to effectively fight the UN and the International Criminal Court, or ICC. However, Mr. Mass neglected to tie the knot in his discourse. That is, that President Bush is very safe in "unsigning" the prior U.S. approval of the ICC, while supporting the United Nations. When a nation becomes a member of the UN, that nation agrees to support all decisions agreed to by the majority of members, even if that nation disagrees with the act. Therefore "unsigning" the establishment of the ICC does not make the United States United States, officially United States of America, republic (2005 est. pop. 295,734,000), 3,539,227 sq mi (9,166,598 sq km), North America. The United States is the world's third largest country in population and the fourth largest country in area. free from having to obey the ICC. Don't you think that Bush's CFR CFR See: Cost and Freight advisors know this, so they do not have to raise a fuss?
