The Hummingbird.


Only the Magnificent Hummingbird flaps its wings slow enough so that each beat can be seen.

The Rufous Hummingbird flies faster than the other species. It also migrates the farthest of all hummingbirds in the U.S.

The Ruby-throated Hummingbird is the most common species that breeds in eastern North America.

The Blue-throated Hummingbird is larger than many other hummingbirds.

Anna's Hummingbird lives permanently in the U.S. or Canada, and sings more than other North American hummingbirds.
