The Hour's Late.

THE HOUR'S LATE

   With polls at 29 percent
      (Nixon's reached 24),
And with the horse departed from
      A swinging-wide barn door,
   The president invites the Guard
      To hold the Rio Grande
   As hopping-mad conservatives
      Give George a tepid hand.
