The OMG's Healthcare Domain Task Force is coordinating the competition. The judging panel is comprised of professionals who have extensive experience in the healthcare industry especially as it pertains to the use of medicine and computer science in bringing solutions to the forefront of these two domains. Judges include; Ms. Carol Burt, president and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board. of 2AB, Inc., Mr. Jim Demetriades, chief enterprise architect of the Veterans Health Administration's Office for Information and Mr. Sam Heard, director, General Practice Education and Research Unit at Flinders University. All judges will be profiled in the annual Healthcare Interoperability Award issue and on OMG's Healthcare Award web site at www.omg.org/homepages/corbamed/award/general_info.htm.
