The Herbalife Family Foundation Gives Five-Year Grant to Los Angeles Charity for New Healthy Eating Program; First Casa Herbalife Serves as Model for Global Expansion of Program.

), a non-profit committed to helping children at risk, will launch its new Casa Herbalife program in the U.S. with a five-year $300,000 grant to A Place Called Home (APCH APCH A Place Called Home (Lindsay, Ontario, Canada homeless shelter)

), a youth center for at-risk youth in South Central Los Angeles. Casa Herbalife, a good-nutrition program for kids, will provide healthy meals including lunch, dinner and a snack to the children everyday between the hours of 11 am and 7 pm at the 11-year-old safe haven 1. Designated area(s) to which noncombatants of the United States Government's responsibility and commercial vehicles and materiel may be evacuated during a domestic or other valid emergency.

At the dedication event on Thursday, March 17th at 1:30 pm, Herbalife CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  Michael O. Johnson will present a check to APCH Board of Directors Chairman Robert Israel. The collaboration with APCH is among the first of several Casa Herbalife programs that the HFF plans to launch around the world in the upcoming year to be sure children are being fed healthy and nutritious meals. HFF will partner with existing charities serving children. This new children's nutrition program is modeled after Casa de Herbalife, an orphanage ORPHANAGE, Eng. law. By the custom of London, when a freeman of that city dies, his estate is divided into three parts, as follows: one third part to the widow; another, to the children advanced by him in his lifetime, which is called the orphanage; and the other third part may be by him  the HFF built in Brazil in 1998.

A Place Called Home is a non-profit youth center whose mission is to provide at-risk youth a secure, positive family environment where they can regain hope and belief, earn trust and self-respect, and learn skills to lead a productive life free of the gangs, drugs and poverty that surround them. APCH helps inner-city, multi-ethnic youth 8-20 years old to find their dreams and lead more self-reliant lives.

Since 1994, the HFF has donated more than $6 million to help children in need in more than 25 countries by offering support in overcoming life's most basic challenges, from escaping poverty, hunger and abuse to receiving adequate medical care and education.
