The Healing Rosary is a book that will teach you how to recite the Rosary in a life-changing way. It gives a how, where, when, and why approach to seeking God's intervention through the Mother that Jesus gave to us from the cross. Throughout are personal testimonies of healing, beginning with Paulette's own story of her daughter's miraculous deliverance from an addiction. She tells how the Rosary taught her patient endurance: "Yes, it was frightening, but praying the Healing Rosary allowed me to visualize how Our Lady was intervening in her life. Each phrase helped me to picture how Our Lady was with her, protecting her, guiding her."
The personal testimonies show how the Rosary has brought people healing and a deeper sense of God's providence. The testimonies are followed by explanations of the four sets of Mysteries, beautifully illustrated by Michael O'Brien.
For each decade, Paulette explains how to formulate prayers of intercession, beginning by visualizing Our Lady as Mediatrix of All Graces, focusing on each aspect of the Mystery, then making petitions with each Hail Mary:
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with Thee. Blessed art Thou amongst women, and Blessed is the fruit of Thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, Protect "Anita" today and pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
She further decorates the Rosary with prayers, including The Memorare before the Apostles Creed, an excellent addition for intercessory prayer, and the St. Michael Prayer at the end.
If you are ever distracted while saying the Hail Mary, or utter the words in mindless repetition, you will be pleasantly surprised with intercessory prayer. It keeps you present and focused on your petition for help.
