The HON Co. earns shingo prize for excellence in manufacturing.


MUSCATINE, IA -- The HON Co. announced that its South Gate manufacturing plant, located eight miles south of Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850. , received the Shingo Prize for Excellence in Manufacturing The Shingo Prize for Excellence in Manufacturing is awarded annually to by Utah State University to North American companies that "achieve world-class manufacturing status."
