The Certified See certification.  Hospitality Accountant Executive (CHAE) and Certified Hospitality Technology Professional (CHTP) are professional designations that are earned by passing an examination covering a wide range of hospitality accounting or technology principles. To qualify to take the exam, an applicant must have earned a minimum number of points, which are awarded for evidence of education, experience, HFTP membership and/or American Hotel & Lodging Association (AH&LA) membership (qualifies toward CHTP designation only). Note: HFTP and/or AH&LA membership is not a qualification requirement.
